The fundraising run is complimentary, though delegates are encouraged to make a donation to the Indigenous Marathon Project (IMP).

The inaugural ASM and ASC Run for a Cause. What better venue for a morning run than around Sydney Harbour? Please pack your running shoes, set your alarm clocks and dig deep to support the Indigenous Marathon Project (IMP) at our inaugural ASM charity fun run. The event will cater to runners of all abilities, with 5km runners enjoying a turnaround at the picturesque Barangaroo Reserve and 10km runners winding their way under the Harbour Bridge to bustling Circular Quay. Inter-College rivalries will be mostly kept at bay by our event ambassador and lead runner, two-time Olympian, fastest ever Australian over 10km and founder of runcrew.com.au, Ben St Lawrence. Run Crew offers specific personalised coaching for every runner. Regardless of your experience or speed, and covering target races from 800m through to ultras, Run Crew is committed to giving runners of all abilities the opportunity to perform at their best. Our coaching covers all areas of training and preparation, with attention to detail usually reserved for the elite.

The meeting point will be at the International Convention Centre. The run will be followed by a light refuelling breakfast back at the Convention Centre. Entry is free and encourage a donation be made to our charity, the Indigenous Marathon Foundation. To donate please visit our fundraising page.

The vision of the IMP is to promote healthy lifestyles to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through mentoring young indigenous men and women to compete at the New York Marathon. More inspirational information can be found on their website.
