For the first time at an ANZCA ASM, we are delighted to welcome TopMed Talk, the internationally acclaimed podcast series to our ASM. TopMed Talk is the broadcasting arm of Evidence Based Perioperative Medicine (EBPOM) and has been live and on-demand broadcasting since 2017.
Professor Monty Mythen will interview a number of “Be connected” presenters, college leaders and anaesthesia and pain experts from Saturday 6 May through to Tuesday 9 May within the HCI exhibition. We’ll be making these podcasts available to delegates as part of the overall ASM package. We also hope to welcome online from the United States, Desirée Chappell, TopMed Talk anchor and editor in chief as a virtual guest. Drop in and see TopMed Talk in action in the HCI exhibition and keep an eye on our socials for up to date information and breaking news.
We thank 3M for supporting Professor Mythen’s attendance at the 2023 ASM meeting as a guest speaker and in turn him being able to run TopMed Talk at #ASM23SYD.
Matilda is a 1950s Bondwood caravan that’s been refitted as a mobile sound recording booth. The Geoffrey Kaye Museum of Anaesthetic History is bringing Matilda to the ASM. Come and join us at the ANZCA and FPM lounge in the healthcare exhibition area. We want to record your memories of COVID-19, memories from the last 25 years of FPM, your thoughts for the future of your specialty, or whatever else you think the future might want to know about the present.
