Our closing plenary is a celebration of what makes ANZCA a world leading institution. With the recent adoption of Te Whare Tohu o Te Hau Whakaora by ANZCA, Dr Amanda Gimblett and Dr Sally Ure will discuss what makes this such a special achievement for the college. Dr Susie Lord will present on how the college is advancing reconciliation on this side of the ditch.
In one of our blockbuster concurrent sessions, Associate Professor Christine Ball will chair a deep dive into anaesthesia for transgender people. This will examine both surgical considerations and what the perioperative practitioner needs to know to care for this community. Drawing on the expertise of national experts, it promises to be informative and thought provoking.
