2027 ANZCA EMERGING LEADERS CONFERENCE

The 2027 Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) will be held from 27-29 April 2027 at Mount Lofty House, nestled in the stunning Adelaide Hills.

The theme for the 2027 Emerging Leaders Conference is “Leadership: From insight to influence”. Delegates will be inspired by the leaders who have come before them and invited to reflect on how they can translate knowledge into meaningful leadership at every level of healthcare – from themselves, to teams, to driving positive change in the system and beyond.

Why should I apply?

Are you an emerging leader in anaesthesia or pain medicine? Do you want to enhance your leadership within your workplace? Are you within the first five years* of your fellowship? Then the ELC is for you! Applications for the 2027 ELC are now open and will close on Friday 23 October 2026.

The college supports new fellows of anaesthesia and pain medicine in the development of a broad range of leadership skills such as communication, social and emotional intelligence, and resilience through the Emerging Leaders Conference. The ELC brings together a diverse range of facilitators to present engaging and dynamic content over a three-day period for new fellows to build on their skills and attributes as future leaders of the profession.
