Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples traditionally use yarning circles for dialogue. This yarning circle is a place for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to come together in respectful dialogue – to connect in a safe space without judgement.
This circle allows us to be present, to share, to look, to listen, and to learn.
For Māori, whakawhanaungatanga is a process of establishing, building and maintaining relationships. A unique opportunity to combine the culture in a meaningful safe setting.
