ANZCA ASM Auckland 1-5 May 2026 : 223 days to go

2026 ANZCA Emerging Leaders Conference

The 2026 Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) will be held from 28-30 April 2026 at the picturesque Rydges Formosa, Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa New Zealand.

This year’s theme, “Te herenga matua – The pursuit of consciousness” invites emerging leaders on a transformative journey to reflect, envision, and collaborate, inspiring them to lead with consciousness and clarity as they navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.

What is the ELC and how can I apply?

Are you an emerging leader in anaesthesia or pain medicine? Do you want to enhance your leadership within your workplace? Are you within five years* of fellowship? Then the ELC is for you! Applications for the 2026 ELC are now open and will close on Thursday 23 October 2025. We encourage all eligible new fellows to apply.

The college supports new fellows of anaesthesia and pain medicine in the development of a broad range of leadership skills such as communication, social and emotional intelligence, and resilience through the Emerging Leaders Conference. The ELC brings together a diverse range of facilitators to present engaging and dynamic content over a three-day period for new fellows to build on their skills and attributes as future leaders of the profession.

Please visit the conference webpage for further information or contact the conference organiser if you have any questions.
